There are certain games that evoke a sense of nostalgia for all of us. This is where we can share how we really feel about these games. I'd like to talk about a game that fills my heart with such happiness, a game that inspires me to be a better person, to be a better role model.
I'm talking about Diablo.
I love that game. i really do. i love the old blizzard games, that great triumvirate (diablo, warcraft, and starcraft). i love the atmosphere and the mood that lighting and music creates. i love the death rattle that escapes what passes for mouths on these infernal monsters as i poke my falchion throuhg their ribs. i love it all! _________________ By the Power of Truth, I, while living, have conquered the Universe!

Squaresoft <3
I practically worshipped Squaresoft back then. With good reason, mind; I enjoyed a great deal of their games. The FF series, FF Tactics, Xenogears, Ehrgeiz, even those funky weird Chocobo games.
Now, well... FFX was good, but it was no FFVIII. FFX-2 was freaking lame, and FFXI totally screwed us all. I can't speak for FFXII, but the way things are going, it had better be spectacular.
Console RPG's, though... ahh, those were always my favorite. Even the non-Square ones like Legend of Legaia, Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden II, and Grandia. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Final Fantasy VII and VIII. Need I say more?
The Holy Triumvirate of Academic Destruction (Diablo, StarCraft, WarCraft) is a nice choice, too.
Neverwinter Nights plus the expansions. I just love D&D!
Super Mario Bros. Who doesn't love this crazy plumber? _________________ A little surprising, really...

Yes. Even Diablo 2 can be played via modem. Even half-life but i don't recommend it since latency would kill you. |

Modem games are fun.
On topic: I liked the cheesy drama that the Ninja Gaiden series offered back then. And I still do. Sorta. |

the resident evil and the tenchu series (except that one with gril ninjas) is what i'd go for. you get to blow up zombies and do insta-gib moves on people before they see you _________________ let M = number of ninja and N = Ninjitsu Level, then N takes the general form of N = a/(bM)^c |

Neo Geo! An awesome console... which I never got to play.
Still, there's a soft spot in my heart for SNK. KoF was one of my favorite game series ever. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Neo Geo and SNK are publishers/developers of the games... they're not consoles as far as I knew... or am I mistaken? _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

Neo Geo is a console. SNK is a publisher. It just so happens that most of the SNK stuff ended up on the Neo Geo. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Yup, neo-geo is a dream console for those who liked fighting games back then , it was where all those great SNK titles came out (AOF, Fatal Fury, etc), too bad thats just about it. |
