When you cast ~, draw four cards.
Annihilator 4 (When this creature attacks, defending player sacrifices four permanents)
When ~ is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles his or her graveyard into his or her library.

I can't click anything on that page. I can view the mouse over image though. _________________ solbergb on sorcerers:

Considering the Eye of Ugin, I'm guessing the Eldrazi spells are always be that HUGE to cast.
Cool new ability, will work great if paired with Gustcloak ability _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

@Xtian: try the actual Eye, which is the gem in the middle. It's actually one big flash animation, so you just need to be really patient while it loads. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Demographics XD (taken from mtgs)
Set Name Rise of the Eldrazi
Block Set 3 of 3 in the Zendikar block *
Three-Letter Abbreviation ROE
Number of Cards 248
Release Date April 23, 2010
Prerelease Events April 17-18, 2010
Launch Parties April 23-25, 2010
Rise of the Eldrazi is a STANDALONE large set. It has its OWN limited format, and will share little to no mechanics with Zendikar and Worldwake.
There are basic lands in the set, but as this is not a land set, they are not full art lands. That was only for ZEN and WWK.
Some rumors...
-Eldrazi Titans: Huge colorless creatures that cost great amounts of mana to play. They all have the keyword Annihilator X, where X is equal to the number of permanents the defending player must sacrifice when they attack with the Titan.
-Eldrazi acceleration: Previewed in Eye of Ugin, and hinted in the MaRo paragraph, there will be several ways in the set to get these Titans out earlier than usual, by special lands, or special sacrificial creatures.
-Leveler: Creatures with the ability Leveler allow you to pay mana to enhance their abilities permanently. The obvious card to look to for this is Figure of Destiny. (This was previously rumored to be named Level Up)
-Colorless cards. The Eldrazi themselves are colorless, numbered BEFORE white in the overall numbering of the set, but will there be cards like Ghostfire that are numbered within the colors in their casting cost, but are technically colorless? Time will tell for now.
-Spawn tokens are 0/1 artifact creature tokens that can be sacrificed for and appear in the set as a mechanic to help to cast and defend against Eldrazi titans.
-There is MORE THAN ONE Planeswalker in the set. Sarkhan Vol returns, the other planeswalker(s) are unknown.
-Totem Armor: A new mechanic that will be featured on Auras. Functionality of the mechanic is currently unknown.

eldrazi cards are really big, so far i like them being "un-terror-rable", though still vulnerable to others _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
Definitely worth casting, much better than the other Eldrazi so far. Comes with a sort-of haste effect that's really nifty, has fairly good evasion (though it's no Prog).
We need to think of ways to ramp into this _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

it's card that puts the caster to haste!
NEW cards are also in the spoiler
Naturalize is back
I like the level up cards so far, almost everything are playable. Though I'm not sure if they would play well on tourneys.

I think T, Draw a Card guy has potential. If ROE has better counterspells then I can definitely see a return to mono-blue control.
I like that All is Dust + Painter's Servant is a reset button Drop some indestructible/regenerating creature in there and you're golden _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Oh hai, iz ROE Previews Week
Sarkhan the Mad
Very interesting design, but more of a Jund tool imo. Or maybe BR burn or some such.
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
Kind of ok, but not as good as Emrakul imo. Maybe just a wee bit better than Kozilek, since at least black decks will have few ways to answer this one. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Hellcarver Demon
Wow. That's really good, imo. There are enough two card insta-kill combos in the format to take advantage of this. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

wow, an attacking planeswalker. too bad he doesn't have evasion.
a good card if counter-control decks come to light

I don't like Gideon, actually. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but he seems extremely underwhelming.
Maybe a deck with high-powered first strikers could work? In which case he'd be a bit too build-around-me. But I digress. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Because WotC is now pushing vamps as the black tribe of choice (as opposed to zombies). They claim vamps personify black better, since they're scheming and manipulative and EVIL, whereas zombies are just BRAAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNSSS.
Whether or not a certain "series" was of any influence is unknown. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

Oh well that explains things. I was just curious as to why some recent vampire cards have no vampiry-related abilities (flying, +1/+1 counter or life-related or creature-manipulation mechanics). _________________ solbergb on sorcerers:

A lot of Zen vamps have flying, life-swing, life-total and creature manipiulation abilities (Vampire Lacerator, Malakir Bloodwitch, Vampire Nighthawk and Gatekeeper of Malakir come to mind). RoE seems to be the exception though.
Sarkhan is mad as hell! I wonder if Jund will have a place for him. _________________ "I should mug people to this song. I'll get so many silver points." -Random youtuber

As I mentioned, I definitely think so. Though I'm more interested in seeing a Grixis "0 walker" deck. Imagine, if you will, this sequence:
T1 Duress/Ponder
T2 Everflowing Chalice
T3 Jace (the MIND TAKER!!), use Fateseal
T4 use Brainstorm, Sarkhan the Mad, use {0} ability, reveal land, go
That's some pretty good CA, imo _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |
