Forst starters, just because I don't know where to put this...

link

Elektra (the real one... dead)
Moira MacTaggert (diseased) <----dunno if they misspelled "deceased" or if she actually IS diseased.
Ms. Marvel I/Warbird (mind-controlled, impregnated by rape, powers and memories stolen, cosmic-powered then depowered, alcoholic - SHEESH!)
Phoenix I (evil-dead-who knows)
Raven (sometimes evil, sometimes dead)
Rogue (just plain messed up)
Scarlet Witch (children 'die'/vanish/are lost because they are figments of her imagination)
Storm (depowered, repowered, periodically crazy to one degree or another)

Untrue. That has been neither confirmed nor debunked.

It's about time actually. Doom's been getting the short end of the stick for a while now, so it's only right he gets a crowning moment of awesome.

Warren Ellis to write Marvel Anime

Marvel teams up with renowned anime studio Madhouse to create anime movies based on their flagship characters, including Iron Man, all to be written by Warren Ellis. I was kinda wary when I heard about Anime Marvel, since the Marvel Mangaverse kinda made my head hurt, but now that Ellis is writing it, and he gets to do anything he wants in the stories... Prepare for awesomeness!

Also: DC to lose rights to Superman in 2013.

It will revert back to the heirs of Superman's creator, Jerry Siegel. They are currently in litigation with DC and Warner over how much money they are supposed to get from the current Superman properties, and DC is, well, screwing them over.

Cool things from the Marvel ComiCon panel:

The Iron Man Anime is effing awesome.

The Wolverine Anime has lots and lots of ninja

(Disclaimer: these are only "test" sequences that may or may not end up in the finished product)

Marvel Superhero Squad! - a funny animated series from Marvel. Check the cast guys:

• Shawn Ashmore (X-Men films) as Iceman
• LeVar Burton (Ali, Roots) as Rhodey
• Taye Diggs (Private Practice) as the Black Panther
• Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) as Dormammu
• Greg Grunberg (Heroes) as Ant-Man
• Mark Hamill (Star Wars) as the Red Skull
• Lena Headey (Sarah Connor Chronicles) as the Black Widow
• Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) as Sif
• Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Ugly Truth) as Stardust
• Wayne Knight (Seinfeld) as Egghead
• James Marsters (Smallville, Buffy The Vampire Slayer) as Mr. Fantastic
• Jennifer Morrison (Star Trek, House) as the Wasp
• Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) as Hawkeye
• Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, Meet The Spartans) as Ka-Zar
• George Takei (Heroes, Star Trek) as Galactus
• Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl) as the Valkyrie
• The cast is also joined by comics legend Stan Lee in a recurring role as the Mayor of Super Hero City

Further info here.

Quote:
The premise of the show revolves around the Heroes, who reside in Hero City, and hang out in a Helicarrier that crashes ... a lot.

...

Dr. Doom and his Lethal Legion reside in Villainville, where they plot to gather the shards of the shattered Infinity Sword so that Doom could rule the world.

In between, he also has to baby sit a group of whiny bad guys that includes M.O.D.O.K. and the Abomination, who’s apparently an avid gamer.

Dozens of Marvel Universe characters will appear at one point or another during the debut season, everyone from Galactus to certain X-Men members, Heroes for Hire, even well-known B-listers such as the Valkyrie and the Wrecking Crew.

The show’s tongue-in-cheek approach to superhero storytelling is its main calling card. Lee, who voices the mayor of Hero City, said seeing many of the characters he helped create decades ago in such a different type of show, poking fun at the superhero genre, was “wonderful.”

Oh, and it'll follow the style of the Marvel Super Hero toys for kids 4 and up! Razz

Now, normally, I loathe Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but I'll have to admit that the musicale episode, The Mayhem of the Music Meister, is :consored: EPIC.

Nothing says silly like Gorilla Grond doing a song and dance routine. XD

The 15 Worst Comics of the Decade

*shudder* I read through 4/5 of the comics that appeared on that list. I blame it for my alcholism.

Agree or disagree with it?
