I'll be sure to adjust to strikers, don't worrymake adjustments so that the loss of a leader will be lessened. Of course, the problem will not be completely gone; I'll merely be cushioning the blow.
As for the loss of a defender, it's real disadvantage is that most monsters will have free reign to attack who they want... Just like 3.5! You can counter this by downing them as quickly as you can. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

Yeah. You may want to multiclass to cleric as well, and just retrain it at some other time. _________________ Words are the only bullets in truth's bandolier. And poets are the snipers.

Fagnus is multiclassing to cleric. That was always his plan.
Which clergy will he go to, though? _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

Oh, btw, as Revan told me over ym, the cost for printing my legally-purchased pdf is PhP100 each.
Also, I was informed that it's a University Holiday on Monday. That means AS is closed, right? We need an alternative place. Feel free to suggest, though my place (without food) is available. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

I'm good with Starbucks, but you guys have got to buy. It's a bit embarassing when there's 7 of us there and only 2-3 people are buying.
Does anyone have a problem with Starbucks Technohub? _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

Well, I'm more of a Katipunan guy, personally, easier for me to commute out there, but it can be managed. Good thing I saved on spending last week. Alternatively, is Bo's still open?
So what's the consensus place and time?
Fallback position:
-Starbs Technohub, 12 onwards?
Question, how do you commute to technohub? The last time, I walked there, and that's an experience I do not want to repeat, especially as I'm hauling the corebooks and the adventure copy. _________________ Words are the only bullets in truth's bandolier. And poets are the snipers.

Of the jeep, I'd imagine. But then, oghma's coming from within UP.
Technohub it is, then. 12noon onwards. Don't be late. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

If you're coming from UP, just ride one that goes to Philcoa. As oghma said, the driver could stop you at the entrance, else near the gas station.
If coming from Edsa, one bus ride is needed, one that has SM Fairview on it. Drop at Mcdo in Philcoa (you'll be on the other side). Just cross the footbridge to gas station, then to Technohub. Longer walk though, technically.
I might drop by during the game, just to see what happens. And if b_b does jogging tomorrow, I might join as well. _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

Okay, while I truly enjoy Starbucks Coffee, the tables are just too small for me to be convenient. If we're going to game at a coffee shop again, I would suggest CBTL and their nice, rectangular tables. XD
In any case, I'm looking forward to going back to UP next week.
As for the maps themselves, I'm sorry if that ate up some of our time. Now that I have a hard copy of the module, I can study the encounters beforehand so I can draw/make my turns faster.
And, oh, note that you need a 12-hour interval in between extended rests. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

The scrolls and the residuum, plus the Head of Vyrellis. For now, that's the loot that you have.
Suffice to say you haven't found any treasure rooms yet. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

So I gather you took your first extended rest in the library.
You will of course benefit from this rest, but keep in mind that from here on in, you will only be able to benefit from an extended rest once every 12 hours. Barring any social encounters that lengthen the time, I will always assume that a 12-hour time period will be covered after three milestones.
Oh, and while your characters do not feel hungry yet, I want to ask: Did any of your characters eat prior to taking the extended rest?
For those who levelled up: I will not honor your level up if your characters are not updated here by Friday night.
PS. I cannot stress this point more: Aside from the game itself, it would do you well to check out the boards once in a while. I make declarations that may affect the campaign here, like the ones above.
PPS. Do feel free to make suggestions as to how I can make the game better for you. Post it all here; positive/negative criticisms are both welcome. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

UF offered cakes before we entered. So I assumed we ate it unless the taste of his cakes were awful. Does it also apply to us drows since we only trance for four hours? _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

Well, for drow, you only require two milestones before you make an extended rest. I imagine that won't be too helpful, though; you still need to wait for your 6-hour rest companions.
The main advantage of a race with a faster rest time is that you can stand watch. But then, the warforged can stay awake during the whole "resting", thing, so its not much of an advantage. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

Is the three milestone rule a hard-and-fast one? I just keep thinking there are bound to be exceptions, like say, we get lost in a series of mazes or something...
Just curious, really, for flavor reasons. If that's not applicable, please disregard _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

As I've said, the assumption for the three milestone thing is that you do nothing except explore random rooms, attack everything that moves, and take 20 on looting.
So to answer your question; no, it's not a hard-and-fast rule. But it would be the norm. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |

Oh, and uhh... the cakes thing was more of a, well, an embellishment, on my part. I never intended for them to satiate hunger in any way...

I think I know someone in the party who is used to foraging mushrooms. I can't just remember who commented it last time in star bucks. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

Just confirming with everyone on sked, Monday this coming week in AS?
Also, in around 2 weeks, there are plans for an org game day (open-meet style), so we may get sidelined for that day (plans are for a Monday). The paperwork is already turning, but specific date is not yet set. _________________ Words are the only bullets in truth's bandolier. And poets are the snipers.

I fully expect sidelines, and to compensate, you have committed to at most two sessions at my place post exams. I thought that much was clear.
As for Monday; yes, there will be a game on Monday, and we're back to AS Hill.
