Despite his gruff and unassuming appearance, Sarvan is a seasoned veteran of many, many battles... not that he ever took part in them personally, mind. He would watch from the sidelines and give out orders. He'd win a few, then lose a few, then win a few, and so on.
Years of being the general had him bored, however. Not that he didn't enjoy the thrill of the fight. That was, perhaps, the best part of it, regardless of who dies to attain it. No, he was irritated that he was always the one who had to give orders, and not take them. After all, his mind was a brilliant tactical mind. So after coercing the local weapons master to show him how to wield the more common military weapons, he set out on a quest of personal fulfillment... through carnage!

I don't have any fancy schmancy drawing tools, and I can't draw my way out of a paper bag neither, so...
Yeah, kinda like that. He's got an axe right now cuz that's what he's using, but Sarvan can pretty much go through any weapon (he was using a longsword earlier, until he picked up that nice shiny battleaxe).
Looks kinda... barbarian-y, sure, but then that's kind of the point; foes tend to misread his role in battle that way.

EDIT: Character updated
-updated to level 4
-retrained Follow Me In to Steel Monsoon
-added Improved Tactics as level 4 feat
-the loot is updated based on the agreement that Sarvan would split 400 gp and 500 sp with somebody else in the party who received no magic items. If this turns out to be wrong, it will be changed accordingly.

I believe it's Hide armor. He's Int is +4 already, and thus works best.
