There is still some hesitance before sex, be it rape or with consent. Women don't generally agree to have sex right away, and even prostitutes or sex addicts have to have their conditions met before they DO it. So, in a way, we still work before sex. We also work hard during sex, although that is arguable and depends on the prefered position...

Aren't we all straying a bit from thread topic here people? If I remember correctly, this is the So what are you reading? (Survey/Discussion) thread.

Let's try to stay moderately on topic.

Haven't had any new books lately, the most recent I bought was Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's Dragonlance Novel The War of the Twins. Even if it was the second part of the Trilogy, you could jump into this right away and understand most of the plot even if you didn't read anything previous to this.

I must find the other two parts. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I've heard of spoilers already about HP7. I still want to read it just to see the ending.

I don't know if anyone's raised the issue yet, but in case it ever comes up, out of common courtesy to our readers and forum members who may or may not have read HP7 yet or whatever the hell other works may come up in the future, can we just have some kind of spoiler warning policy setup?

You know, either insert big

[SPOILER WARNING]

[END SPOILER]

tags into the text? And/Or using small unreadable font sizes for spoilers if any? I'm not against expressing vague expressions and opinions on a work, mind you, but specific spoilers to key plot points can be downright, freaking...BASTOS, for all the others who have not maniacally read through said work all ready Very Happy .

This okay with the rest of you guys and gals?

Not really, so this is as good a place as any to link any that look good.

Been reading these online:
http://megatokyo.com/ Megatokyo (manga and otaku parody)
http://www.seraph-inn.com/ Inverloch (fantasy)
http://forthewicked.net/ No Rest For The Wicked (fairy tale retelling)
http://surlalunefairytales.com/ Sur La Lune Fairy Tales (annotated classic fairy tales. Great with Fables)
http://withershins.phozon.com/ Withershins. Creepy Victorian-ness.
http://www.noneedforbushido.com/ No Need For Bushido (Parody of Samurai Drama. BIRDFISH!)

Reading in RL:
-Books of Magic v1-4 (mini), #1-75 (monthly)
Complete! At last! Complete! I've been waiting to finish this series ever since I was first introduced to it late in high school. Timothy Hunter is the :consored:. It's got its downsides (the aimless wandering in America, etc), but all in all is solid. Yet another mythological Hero's Journey to write about.

-The Names of Magic 1-5, Hunter: The Age of Magic #1-25
The continuation of the Books of Magic series. Further encounters with the Trenchcoat Brigade, the True Name of Timothy Hunter, and his further education in The White School.

(now all I need to do is get my hands on Books of Magick: Life During Wartime #6-onwards to complete my Books of Magic Library).

-Lucifer: The Morningstar Option 1-3, Lucifer #1-75
All Hail the Morningstar! Following the trail where Sandman: Season of Mists left off, this series follows the not-so-quiet retirement of the Lightbringer. Excellent reading so far.

Manic request: I MUST FIND A COPY OF HYPERION! The bloody series is so damned fun, but I've lost book 1! DAMMIT!

Oh, and almost forgot to mention, thanks to boy_bakal for letting me borrow FABLES 1&2.

Fables is also the s**t. Comic overload right now with Books of Magic, Lucifer, and Fables. All are the s**t.

Fables rawk. Can't believe I've read it just now. Sale at NBS. Bought 3 TPBs at only P600 each.

The hardound, all-painted prequel, 1001 Nights oF Snowfall also rocked my socks off.
