i'm planning on writing an adaptation of shakespeare's hamlet, but i'm transposing the story to modern philippines instead of denmark. tapos kaysa king yung erpats ni hamlet, his a provincial governor who gets whacked by his vice governor who also happens to be his cousin in law. very controversial and appropriate. |

Indeed. Admittedly I've only read the first three books on Drizzt (I believe that would be the Dark Elf Trilogy), but I like what I've read. Will be getting the next few books in time, once I finish with my other books. XD _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

English only. One more and ...
For posting spoilers ... do something like this:
Try to highlight the quote.
spoiler wrote: | If you are reading this then it is too late for you fricken whippersnappers. This is an explosive rune. No save allowed. BOOM!!! Die you filthy bastards!!! |
Use white font inside quotes.

I just found this neat bookstore here, Book Corner, and they've got a pretty nice collection of books, both brand-new and used. This is an updated version of my RA Salvatore books (those I've read get an asterisk):
THE LEGEND OF DRIZZT
The Crystal Shard*
Streams of Silver*
The Halfling's Gem
The Legacy
Starless Night
Siege of Darkness
Passage to Dawn
The Silent Blade
Sea of Swords
THE HUNTER'S BLADE TRILOGY
The Thousand Orcs*
The Lone Drow*
The Two Swords*
THE SELLSWORDS
Servant of the Shard
Promise to the Witch-King
Gosh, I've got some reading to do! And that's in addition to By Way of Deception: The Making and Unmaking of a Mossad Officer. It's a pretty cool book about the Israeli elite intelligence department, as told by a defector. _________________ A little surprising, really...

Funny that you should mention the Mossad in your post, because I found an interesting juxtaposition of quotes in Clanbook: Assamite (a splatbook for Vampire: the Masquerade).
The truth shall set you free. -motto of the Central Intelligence Agency
By way of deception, thou shalt do war. motto of the Institute for Intelligence and Special Tasks (Mossad) _________________ Words are the only bullets in truth's bandolier. And poets are the snipers.

Just updating on my book list:
THE LEGEND OF DRIZZT
The Crystal Shard*
Streams of Silver*
The Halfling's Gem*
The Legacy*
Starless Night*
Siege of Darkness*
Passage to Dawn*
The Silent Blade*
Sea of Swords
THE HUNTER'S BLADE TRILOGY
The Thousand Orcs*
The Lone Drow*
The Two Swords*
THE SELLSWORDS
Servant of the Shard
Promise to the Witch-King
What's crazy about this lineup is that no matter how time flies, the humans Catti-brie and Wulfgar never grow past their middle-age point! And Drizzt's age keeps shifting back and forth, like having an average of 60 years, with a standard deviation of 10 years! _________________ A little surprising, really...

I am reading lots and lots of critical thinking related articles and video gaming related articles. Godfriggin thesis.
One of the books I liked recently is Why do men fall asleep after sex?. Funny funny stuff. And educational! _________________ solbergb on sorcerers:
"Whether it is true or not, all sorcerers seem to act as if their power is inexhaustible. It really annoys the prepared casters."
A druid on rogue:
"Foolish girl! I am a Druid, I have special abilities more powerful than your entire class!" |

Hmm. You need more video game references for your thesis? I've got an interesting one: From Sun Tzu to Xbox: War and Video Games, by Ed Halter. It's an examination of wargaming, video games, and the relations between. _________________ Words are the only bullets in truth's bandolier. And poets are the snipers.

You might be unnerved by me knowing this fact but, I've read that after sex, especially after orgasm, both the man and the woman's body release this chemical that cause the body to relax and enter utopia, much like drugs.
I think the effect is called "mental lassitude". I don't remember what the chemical's name is. It's a human response to orgasm, whether from sex or from masturbation. Believe me, I know. Why don't you read on it?
However, this is a fact. What Xtian might have read is fiction, and a lot of fictitious information or speculations regarding why a man sleeps after sex. Still, since BJ, ohgma and Princessa are asking, I answered in the most simple and straightforward way possible. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |

Men...*ahem*...work...*ahem*...so HARD?!..*ahem*
Oh, wait. That's a western book, I guess. Yes, I understand. I think you guys won't disagree with me saying that the situation's different here in the Philippines, men work a little less hard, that's why they have more time for sex. Or at least I'm referring to those male, big-bellied slackers who do nothing but get drunk and have sex.
On the other hand, you might have meant that men work hard DURING sex, that's why they sleep afterwards. Or is it that sex is hard work, so men would rather sleep...
I'm confused...
Hehehehe...
PLEASURE before WORK. That is why a lot of people are bumming after graduation. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |
