Because I'm also an 80's cartoons buff, let me start off this thread with these: (asterixs are character's names)

****** Wisdom

"Whispered secrets of a shattered age,
I summon you: renew this sage!"

******* Knowledge

"A whim, a thought, and more is sought.
Awake my mind; thy will be wrought!"

******* Strength

"Three suns aligned pour forth their light
And fill the archer's bow with might!"

******* Light Speed

"Sheathe these feet in the driving gale,
Make swift these legs o'er land I sail!"

******* Protection

"Shield this craft from one and all.
Reflect, deflect, depose and fall!"

******* Fire

"Draw upon the breath of stars,
And scorch the sky with fiery scars!"

******* Healing

"By warmth of heart, your pain I feel.
Grant me the power, your wounds to heal!"

====

******* Decay

"By what creeps, what crawls, by what does not,
Let all that grows recede and rot!"

The cartoon showed an additional power to reverse this Decay:

"Power of rot, obscuring truth,
What once was old restore to youth!"

******* Destruction

"By nature's hand, by craft, by art,
What once was one now fly apart!"

******* Fear

"Oh mist-filled pits, dark, dank, unclear,
Touch all before me with frost-fingered fear!"

******* Invulnerability

"The arrows turn, the swords rebel,
let nothing pierce this mortal shell!"

******* Flight

"Wings of steel shall ride the breeze.
Invade the air, the land, the seas!"

******* Magic Extractor

"Flay the flesh, lay bare the bone.
Upon this field, let grief be sown!"

******* Disease

"Wind of sickness, illness most vile,
Strike down my enemy, with disease revile!"

====
Know where these came from? Meow!

yeps! downloaded all....*drumroll* THIRTEEN episodes! That's right. Only thirteen episodes were made. Which is a shame, considering this was such a kickass show.

Sheesh. why do they cancel all the good shows? like...silverhawks. or... uh...bucky o' hare...or... galaxy rangers....or Bravestarr...

Nostalgia for the win! I still remember a good chunk of those, Silverhawks generally. Geh. Fun memories

Bravestarr FTW! XDDD Strength of the Bear Raaahh!! hehehe... man that was some good stuff.

I don't remember much of the 80's cartoons... just He-Man and stuff, hehehe. I'm more of a 90's kid myself, with things like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Denver the Last Dinosaur, etc. Oh, and there was this other thing too, with Dinosaurs... from space! (that coulda been an 80's one actually) That makes it sound really good, but actually the quality was pretty bad, all things considered.

that was Dinosaucers. the bad guy was Genghis Rex...THE stupidest, dumbest villian EVER. I swear.

I'm on an 80's (with a bit of 90's cartoons in the mix) binge. Currently downloading...

- Dino Riders (I have the humongous brontosaurus action figure, the stegosaurus and....this small herbivorous velociraptor looking dino)
- Pirates of Darkwater
- Conan the Adventurer (I remember it was shown on ABS-CBN on weekend mornings...)
- Visionaries
- Bucky O' Hare
- Freakazoid (not an 80s/90s toon, but still hilarious)

I'm also looking for a King Arthur and the Knights of Justice torrent. Also C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa (that cartoon show about anthropomorphic cows...who ride horses and...uh....have no problems eating steak) If anyone knows where I can find these...

Dinosaucers! That's the one. I was really into dinosaurs as a kid. I'd watch anything with dinosaurs in it.

This stuff reminds me of the Mr. T cartoon shown on RJ TV from time to time... I pity the fool! Haha!

well there are a lot of them... I like this one, myself:

Chuck Norris originally appeared in the "Street Fighter II" video game, but was removed by Beta Testers because every button caused him to do a roundhouse kick. When asked bout this "glitch," Norris replied, "That's no glitch."

SRatSS FTW! XD I actually liked those slightly obscure, only-shown-on-RJTV29-or-RPN9 cartoons. I would watch those hand in hand with two Kung Fu movies, where that one dude beats up these brass men in a shaolin temple, and the other one where the dude made the other dude drink kids' piss to teach him dancing fairy/drunken master styles. but that's somewhat off-topic. Very Happy

VOLTRON! also in the SRatSS era. I personally liked the Lion Voltron better. (who doesn't?)

Apparently nobody has yet to mentioned The Superfriends & GI Joe. Those were 2 80s cartoons that we thought was ok back then but you'll ridicule it when you reminisce about them. Especiallt the infamous GI Joe episode "Rocket's Red Glare"
