and hey, since this is just a teaser, i could even continue it after summer, at some point... prolly not next sem though, since that's when i'm continuing iron maiden XD

That said, I'd want to take Jaykie's campaign slot on Wednesday, if he's not going to run his campaign. I've completed my story outline and NPCs for my Eberron campaign, "Cry of the Dragonheart". There are 20 chapters in my story outline, and I've also estimated it to reach ECL 20.

So if any of my players are able to read this in time, be prepared with your characters tomorrow. As a teaser, here's a story "excerpt":

... Akkaian looks down upon the group of adventurers. From his ancient but still very sharp eyes, he can see the uneasiness about the adventurers from Aundair. He pauses a moment, takes a deep, bellowing breath, and speaks in a calm voice. "Don't be afraid, young travelers. Ithor and I are here to guide you through the tunnels of the Demonwastes. We've heard from the druidess, Aiuna, that you are looking for the Emerald Chamber. We are more than glad to help." He lifts his powerful forelegs that are covered with black gleaming scales smaller than those that run through his spine, then gently nudges with his massive tail what seems to be a small creature cowering underneath his towering physique. "Ithor, be a little more courteous to our guests and introduce yourself!"

Out of the huge dragon's shadow comes a small, scaly creature. Its face looks like a dragon, but less fearsome and very unmajestic. It shakes out of fear, and it does not seem to like to look straight at the eyes of strangers. It speaks in a tightened, squawky voice. "...I-I-I'm Ithor, of the Blackscale clan... P-p-pleased to m-m-meet you..." The kobold immediately hides back undearneath Akkaian.

"Ithor, that's not very polite, hiding beneath a dragon's shadow!", said the black-scaled dragon. The kobold replied in what seem to be draconic words, a combination of eldritch language and hisses. After a few wailing sounds, he says "Y-y-you kn-n-now how I'm u-u-uncomfortable I am with ou-ou-outssiderssss, Akkaian."

Akkaian turns back his attention to his visitors. "I'm sorry that my friend here acts in such terrible manner. This is no way to treat visitors. Let me start again." The dragon stands tall, lifts up his head, and speaks while looking over the small adventurers.

"I am Akkaian, Descendant of Io, Keeper of Concordance and Guardian of the Blackscale. Pleased to meet you, small ones."

He smiles, then his sharp teeth gleam in the darkness of the cavern. His black scales brush against each other while he tries to keep his massive build from moving. It's obvious, that this dragon wants to emphasize courtesy at all times to show how proud he is of his heritage. An eery warmth embraces the party of adventurers.

"And I am Ithor, master trapsmith and dungeoneer, elder kobold of the Blackscale."

Akkaian starts to laugh. Ithor is unbothered. The cave echoes with the dragon's sound of laughter.

The world shakes. The Dragonheart cries.
