It's called the Templar Assassin. The apprentice of a legendary creature from Aiur (Guess who?). I find his first power very strong, as it renders you immune from damage from 6 hits! Adds a good bonus damage too. His ulti is for support, an invisible trap that slows units by 50%. Her Psiblades are also strong, if you're in the correct position. But I like the second one from Senti, it is the Storm Spirit (aka, Thunderkeg), his Electric Rave gives 80% IAS, when combined with his third one, which gives 75 AREA damage after 5 hits at LV. 4, plus a Mjollnir, and you're into very serious trouble... His Ulti is interesting too, but only useful when you're chasing a hero. The third one is a support hero, the Sacred Warrior, his healing power is quite fast, giving you regen equal to a big percentage of your main attribute + 8 at LV 4. His Burning Spear is good for harrassing because they stack. His third power is nice. It gives you bonus to attack speed and damage. His Ulti sucks, and doesn't synergize well with his other powers, because it causes you to lose (40,30,25)% of your HP just to slow the unit by 50%. His Burning Spear won't work if he's less than 100 HP).
All in all, the new heroes for Senti have ultis that lets you chase heroes. _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

i don't think he's a support hero, it's actually a one-on-one killer..
it's ultimate is quite strong, the synergy is first use the ulti at full health (for great damage) then cast inner vitality(his 1st skill) on self, then autocast burning spear while attacking the hero.. the rest will do itself.. just pump up your health with vanguard or heart of tarrasque to make that 40% worthfit..
btw his ulti has damage equal to 40% of your current HP, thus it's really strong when it's on 3rd lvl, whre 25% of HP is sacrifice for 40%of HP dmg!!
boy_bakal wrote: | me likes the ranged str type XD |
ahaha, me too
he's strong because he's a ranged-strngth type hero..
I'll just say that all the new heroes are hybrids of a usual hero (a ranged-str type hero? another int-type melee? an int-type that attacks so damn fast? a zombie that walks fast? a hero with all skills AoE?).. me think IceFrog is up to something... _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. We've all played them, and we're sure to have liked them.
Raijin is a cool hero, an Int type with long range and very fast attack speed. I like his skill, Overload, best. Give him damage items and he can be a killer.
Dirge the Undying's power to push is really unbelievable. He's almost unstoppable unless his adversaries are area effect users. I can see him with Necrollyc the Visage and Krobelus the Death Prophet Destroying most if not all towers at level 10. His Plague is strong, but his defining factor is his zombies. Accompanied by Heart Stopping Aura, Dirge is gangbang push madness.
I haven't used the others, but we've seen them work like a dime. Linaiya is surprisingly effective, the Sacred Warrior is powerful, and Azgalor's Dark Portal is simply peachy keen strategically.
But of course, my personal favorite is Ishkafel the Dark Seer, and you guys know why. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |

To those of you who've played the Dark Seer, Ishkafel, I'd like to ask: What are the things that his third skill Energy Surge can remove? Add to the ones I've known so far.
Energy Surge can undo the following:
1. any Poison Effect
2. any Slow effect
3. any Stun effect
4. any Blind effect
5. any Entangle effect (Including Rooftrellen's Overgrowth, which I've graciously seen from Alvin.)
In other words, Energy Surge can remove some ultimates, or at least their side effects. So if by any chance you've played Ishkafel, post here. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |

To be specific, Surge can remove the following effects:
1. Sleep effects, but not including Naga Siren's Ulti.
2. Poison Effects, ex. Poison Sting, Poison Nova status, including the Curse of the Silent ability.
3. Burn Effects, ex. Battle Hunger, Dual Breath's Fire Damage
4. Slow Effects, ex. Void, Enchant or Purge (but should be done right after the effect has hit the target.) Or any cold-based effect.
5. Stun
6. Blinding Effects, ex. Drunken Haze, Blind, & Crippling Fear
7. Any form of Entangling Root, ulti or otherwise
8. Enfeeble
9. Any form of damage-amplifying status.
Or, just about anything under the sun except for aura-based effects and some ulti exceptions (like, as boy_bakal said, Rupture) _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

Wait, if Mana Leak was "enchanted" on you and used Surge on self, will the Surge remove the status before the mana leaks away, or will the mana leak away before Surge removes the buff?

Quote: | Wait, if Mana Leak was "enchanted" on you and used Surge on self, will the Surge remove the status before the mana leaks away, or will the mana leak away before Surge removes the buff? |
Here is what happens:
1. Mana Leak is cast on you.
2. You cast Surge.
3. Mana Leak triggers, character loses 80% of his current mana. Removes status icon.
4. Surge triggers. Tries to find status, but cannot find any (since status was removed right after triggering).
5. Character has maximum speed. _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

Meh, it happens. There is this quote that says you don't actually learn unless you lose.
Bad news for Ish'kafel though. It seems that Icefrog saw that surge was too imbalanced and removed the purge effect. He'd still be a great runner though. _________________ "I should mug people to this song. I'll get so many silver points." -Random youtuber

What? Why? That shouldn't be happening. I like Surge. It's not that powerful. Sure, it removes negative buffs and maximum speed, but hey, come on! He's not that powerful. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |

The epic Best-of-3 battle last Thursday at Hobby Stop fried my brains and disabled it for two days... with serious symptoms such as ulcer, insomnia, and the delusions of being beaten by a 20 ft. Tiny with Double Battlefury... _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

There's already 6.46b... few more changes, but is it just this computer, or is the meat wagon model not appearing? I smell a .46c not far away. Icefrog maybe very busy to have overlooked this stuff... _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

yes! wagons are out!
those things make "push" easy.. letting the creeps do the tower wrecking, plus towers don't attack them until they are the only ones left to be attacked!! _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

That's not what I meant...
The projectile for the meat wagon deals damage, you see it appear from nowhere along with you creeps. You creeps attacks the "meat wagon" too. You get no gold, however, for killing those things. You cannot see it's model (a la Blur), but it still does attack and the worst part is, you cannot target/attack it unless through attack-ground. _________________ Master Wayne, you've just been PWNED! |

Have you heard about 6.47?
It was released a few days ago I think, and it featured Puck, the Fairy Dragon as a new hero. However, it was retracted due to a fatal error bug with Puck's ultimate.
Expect 6.47b to come out some time soon... _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |
